Warblewo [varˈblɛvɔ] (formerly German Warbelow) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Polanów, within Koszalin County, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) north-east of Polanów (Pollnow), 37 km (23 mi) east of Koszalin (Köslin), and 162 km (101 mi) north-east of the regional capital Szczecin (Danzig).
Before 1945 the area of Farther Pomerania, where the village is located, was part of Germany.[2][3] On March 8th, 1945, the region was occupied by the Red Army, and after the end of World War II it was put under Polish administration.
